Matthew Alexander, M.D. is a NeuroInterventional Surgeon in the Departments of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and Neurosurgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He has expertise in cerebral and spinal angiography, treating a broad range of vascular disorders affecting the nervous system. His research involves clinical, translational and basic science investigation of aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulae, and intracranial atherosclerosis. He also performs noninvasive surgery using MRI-guided focused ultrasound and investigates novel applications of this technology.
