Robert N. Taylor, MD, PhD, is a gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Taylor received his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and completed a combined MD-PhD program at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Taylor completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Taylor is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist widely published in the areas of endometriosis, embryonic implantation and early pregnancy complications. He received the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Distinguished Researcher Award (2007), was President of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (2010-11), and Honorary Secretary of the World Endometriosis Society (2011-2017). Dr. Taylor’s research interests include human endometrial function, uterine biology, embryonic implantation, and endometriosis. In his spare time, Dr. Taylor enjoys cycling, skiing, and various outdoor sports.

Dr. Taylor is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist widely published in the areas of endometriosis, embryonic implantation and early pregnancy complications. He received the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Distinguished Researcher Award (2007), was President of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (2010-11), and Honorary Secretary of the World Endometriosis Society (2011-2017). Dr. Taylor’s research interests include human endometrial function, uterine biology, embryonic implantation, and endometriosis.
