Research Statement

My major research interests include identifying and quantifying environmental risk factors of cardiovascular disease. My work thus far has concentrated on quantification of associations of air pollution exposures and a number of clinical conditions that may represent causal intermediates between environmental exposures and clinical cardiovascular outcomes. I also have interests in research on health education, particularly in the arenas of access to, and disparities in, graduate medical education
