Amanda Allshouse, MS is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, at University of Utah Health. As a biostatistician, her work focuses on improving health outcomes in maternal and fetal health, and women’s health across the lifespan. She is developing expertise in working with the NuMoM2b cohort data, and building on experience with the SCRN cohort data, and she is a resource for researchers interested in these materials. Prior to joining University of Utah Health, Amanda was with the Colorado School of Public Health for 11 years supporting researchers across the university through the CTSI, and researchers through the departments of Ob/Gyn at the University of Colorado as well as Denver Health. Amanda started her career at Health Solutions, the business unit of RTI International; RTI International serves as the Data Coordinating Center for the NuMoM2b and SCRN studies. Hailing from the east coast, Amanda earned a MS in Biostatistics from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a BS in Economics and Statistics from Carnegie Mellon. Outside of work, her time energy and heart are dedicated to family, community, food, exercise, enjoying the outdoors, and music.
