Mixael Zirio Mustafa, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida, and his addiction psychiatry fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. His clinical interests include post traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders, social justice and mental health as well as education and advocacy. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Zirio Mustafa is delighted to be continuing his career as a member of the clinical adult inpatient team and addiction consult service at the University of Utah's Huntsman Mental Health Institute.
