Rebecca Barter, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the Division of Epidemiology. Dr Barter's work at the University of Utah focuses on campus-wide data science education as well as broad applications of statistical and data science techniques, such as data visualization, causal inference, machine learning, and AI, to a range of problems in healthcare. Dr Barter received her PhD in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019.
