Ryan Fleming, PharmD

Dr. Fleming is the Manager of the University of Utah Healthcare Thrombosis Service, within the Department of Pharmacy, and also works as a clinical pharmacist in the Hospital and both Thrombosis Clinics.

He earned his PharmD from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities College of Pharmacy in 2010, then completed a PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Fleming's clinical interests include providing optimal treatment of blood clots with the use of antithrombotic therapy, within both the inpatient and outpatient settings, while providing optimal transitions of care between these settings. He continually strives to build his leadership skills, because pharmacy leadership is the driving force that carries the profession forward and allows pharmacists to practice in evolving and advancing roles in patient care.
