Wade Fallin is the Executive Director of the Louis S. Peery, M.D. Orthopaedic Innovation Center, he holds the Dr. Louis S. and Janet B. Peery Presidential Endowed Chair as a Research Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics, and he is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors. His focus is innovation in the areas of orthopaedic surgical procedures, implant systems, and surgical instrumentation that improves the outcomes and quality of orthopaedic patient care.

Wade Fallin received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984, and his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1995. He is a former serial entrepreneur and innovator in the medical device industry, focused in the orthopedic and spine markets. He co-founded and sold five companies: MedicineLodge I, MedicineLodge II, Facet Solutions, VentureMD and Surgical Frontiers. He currently holds over 250 issued U.S. patents.
