Publicity

Save the Dates

SAVE-THE-DATE cards, e-mail blasts or posting a web page prior to UUCME’s approval of your activity is permissible as long as it contains nothing more than the name of the activity, date and location. If more specific information is included, such as faculty names, topics, objectives or conference highlights, then your activity must first be approved for CME by UUCME and must include the provided ACCME accreditation statement.

Brochures, Announcements, Websites

Activity announcements, publicity brochures and course materials such as websites, registration sites, or the syllabus must include the ACCME Accreditation Statement and the AMA Credit Designation Statement. All publicity, such as brochures and web sites must be approved by UUCME prior to distribution. Brochure graphic design, printing and mailing services are available through University Print and Mail Services.

All professions are welcome to use the credit system

All attendees are encouraged to use the CME system to claim their attendance. Physicians will be awarded AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™; all other professions will be awarded attendance at a CME event credit that they may use for their re‐credentialing purposes.  All users will be able to print or save certificates. For questions regarding the CME system, please contact the UUCME Office. For questions regarding re‐credentialing process or requirements, please contact your re-credentialing organization.

ACCME Statements

UUCME will provide approved activities with the correct statements to use for the activities publicity information.
