About Me
If I weren’t an OBGYN...
I would be a ski patroller. I ski patrolled in Colorado for several years before I went to medical school, and I loved the combo of teamwork, physical work, avalanche safety work… and skiing!
Medical Areas of Interest:
Reproductive justice and healthcare access, medical education, narrative medicine, gynecologic surgery, substance use in pregnancy
Interests & Hobbies:
Mountain biking, trail running, skiing and ski touring, surfing, reading fiction, listening to audiobooks, crosswords, knitting
Why Utah:
I fell in love with the Utah program because of the combination of excellent training and an incredibly tight-knit community. I know that I do best when I feel simultaneously challenged and supported, and on my interview day, I got the sense that Utah residents felt exactly this way! I also value time outside and in the mountains, and am thrilled to be living in a place with amazing outdoor access right out the door (and lots of friends and corezzies who want to go on adventures with me). I feel so lucky to be here!
Hometown:
Lincoln, MA
