Why Utah?
After the most objective process of applying to medical school (I read a list of schools to my roommate and she told me to apply or not), I was incredibly fortunate to end up at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Over my four years, I fell in love with the area and, in particular, our access to the mountains, as well as with the ObGyn program! During my clinical rotations, the residents and attendings were kind and welcoming, and they were fabulous, inspiring teachers. I knew that I wanted to learn from and train alongside them! Additionally, given the program’s catchment area, the residents get phenomenal exposure to the breadth and depth of the specialty, and emerge exceptionally well prepared for a career in ObGyn. I couldn’t be more excited to stay in Utah and join such a compassionate, motivated, and supportive team!
