About Me
If I weren’t an OB/GYN…
I would probably be a journalist or a writer! I think that storytelling is an incredibly powerful way to amplify the stories of others and advocate for change. Luckily, I also get to do that as an Ob/Gyn.
Medical Areas of Interest
Global health, urogynecology, family planning, medical education, and mental health.
Interests & Hobbies
Staying active and spending time outside / in the mountains are really important to me. I love that Utah has so much to offer in terms of access to the beautiful outdoors. I enjoy hiking, running, Peloton, skiing, camping, dogs, live music, plant-based cooking, exploring Utah breweries and coffee shops, thrifting, and of course comfy nights on my couch.
Why Utah?
During interview season, I fell in love with this program because of its culture. Seeing the Utah residents talk so openly, find humor, and be so human about the hard and humbling process of residency was so cool. I felt that in this program, I’d be celebrated and radically supported for who I am both personally and professionally. I remember thinking what a privilege it would be to train alongside these incredible, down to earth, genuine, funny human beings. I took short videos of myself immediately post-interviews to capture my impressions of programs, and I still tear up when I watch my Utah one. I am so thrilled and grateful to be here.
