About Me
If I weren’t an OBGYN...
I would travel all over the world to try culturally unique foods and then try to replicate my favorites at home. How I would financially manage this career would be another question.
Medical Areas of Interest:
Comprehensive sex education, reproductive justice, family planning, general OB/GYN, big fan of being in the OR
Interests & Hobbies:
Anything outdoors & where I can move my body- mountain biking, backcountry skiing, hiking, designing workouts. I love cooking, making fancy cocktails, trying new restaurants, and browsing Costco. Don’t be fooled though, I can leave a gas station post-biking with a solid assortment of candy and savory snacks. Can’t complete a bio without sharing my love for my two Frenchie’s, Oddi (named after the sphincter) and Ferdinand. PS- ACE hardware also has a sneaky good snack selection.
Why Utah:
When I am not in the hospital, I want to do my favorite activities so that was easy. The mountains are gorgeous! More importantly, I want to share these activities and spend my free time with kind, funny, and motivated individuals. When I had my interview at Utah and as I have grown to learn more about everyone in the program, I feel so lucky to have nailed this. The group of individuals I am working alongside are truly amazing and make me want to be better inside and outside of the hospital every day.
Hometown:
Pittsford, Vermont
