About Me
If I weren't an OBGYN, I'd be a teacher! I loved all my teachers growing up and always thought that I would be a teacher if I didn’t go into medicine. Lucky for me, there are loads of opportunities to teach as resident and I’m looking forward to it!!
Medical Areas of Interest
Gyn/Onc, Family Planning, Patient Education, Reproductive Justice
Interests & Hobbies
Exercise!!! I love the feeling of pushing myself to the limits. Whether it be an F45 class, hiking, biking or simply going for a walk. I also love to read (currently reading the Henna Artist!), cook, watch reality television, and spend time with my family and best friends.
Why Utah?
As a Canadian gal from British Columbia, it was important to me to find a place that made me feel at home. The city-feel with access to the outdoors did just that. Although I was attracted to the location, it was the residents, faculty and exceptional training that made the U my first choice. Through attending various meet and greats and open houses the family-like feel amongst everyone was palpable. Also, after reviewing the case numbers, research opportunities and diverse patient population, there was no doubt this program would allow me to become a well-rounded physician in a supportive environment. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be moving to Salt Lake City!
