Playing and watching sports, spending time with friends and family (especially traveling), discovering documentaries/docuseries, painting (aka trying to be artsy), and exploring the food scene.
Why Utah?
Utah is the program that most aligned with the values I cared most about. Resident wellness is a priority to program leadership and there is a focus on developing a strong community within the residency. The program is proactive in maintaining the highest level of surgical & clinical training with good patient volumes, multiple clinical training sites & exposure to a wide array of obstetric & gynecologic pathologies. Most importantly, though, the people in the program and the built-in support network that Utah offered were unmatched.
