Anything outdoors with my wife and 2 pups, Kansas City and University of Colorado sports, live music, finding new restaurants and trying new food, travelling and exploring all that SLC and Utah has to offer.
Why Utah?
While I was confident that the excellent, well-rounded training in state of the art facilities at the University of Utah would equip me with the knowledge and skill to become a great physiatrist, I also felt that the supportive environment and accomplished faculty, residents and staff would inspire me to grow as an individual. Residency is time-consuming and can be stressful, but having such incredible access to outdoor activities provides ample opportunity to recharge in a beautiful setting.
