Why Utah?
I rotated in Utah and absolutely loved the experience. The residents were extremely kind and hard-working. They went out of their way to make sure that I was having the best educational experience and I found this to be true of everyone I worked with at the University of Utah. At the U, there is a strong sense of striving to learn and being the best version of oneself in order to give patients the best care possible. I wanted to be surrounded by this as a resident. I was also drawn to Utah PM&R because of its well-rounded training with exposure to various subspecialties. I am also excited to bike, ski, and trail run out west!
