I was fortunate to grow up in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii; a place that fosters a love and appreciation of the outdoors. I went away to the Bay Area for undergrad where I double majored in Public Health Science and Spanish Studies. I spent some time during and after undergrad doing community outreach and volunteering as an EMT. I returned to Hawaii for medical school and the rest is history!

Interests & Hobbies
I love the outdoors and any opportunity to be active: surfing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and more. When I'm at home I enjoy cooking/baking, home fermentation projects (kimchi, kombucha, tepache, etc.), gardening, and reading. I also love hanging out with my chocolate lab, Chip!

Why Utah?
I rotated at the U in my 4th year of medical school and fell in love! The residents and attendings were all so fun to work with and seemed so happy. The mountains and trails are so easily accessible from SLC. What's not to love about Utah!
