  • About Me

I grew up in southwest Montana and spent most of my childhood frolicking through the mountains. I migrated to New England for undergrad and enjoyed everything Maine offers while studying Neuroscience and cross country ski racing for Bates. After college, the Intermountain West called me home. After deciding I was, in fact, going to become a doctor, I spent a few years skiing/ waitressing/ scribing/ doing research, and exploring South America. I was lucky enough to come to the U for med school and am beyond excited to have the chance to stay for EM residency!

    Medical Areas of Interest

    Ultrasound, Rural Medicine, Sports Medicine.

    Interests & Hobbies

I love getting outside with friends, my partner, and our pup Ellie- from trail running and mountain biking to the backcountry, alpine, and cross-country skiing, camping, and exploring the Utah desert and mountains. A self-proclaimed snack queen, I will always have a treat to share and prefer to do it mid-adventure with a good view. When not playing outside, I love to cook, travel, spend too long with a good book and a cup of coffee, and am currently raising chickens!

    Why Utah?

I chose Utah for the exceptional people and culture of the residency program, diversity in training sites, exposure to a wide range of pathologies, large rural catchment area, and so much more. I am confident that this program will provide me with stellar training and opportunities to become an exceptional EM physician and also allow me to be the best version of myself in residency, a part of the Utah EM family, both in and out of the hospital!
