I grew up in a small coastal town outside Boston, where years of exploring New England's coastlines and mountains instilled a deep appreciation for the outdoors. With half my family rooted in Italy, I was drawn to the idea of European medical education, a curiosity that led me to medical school in Ireland. My previous experience as an ED tech was my introduction to Emergency Medicine, and my clinical years in medical school only solidified my decision to pursue it!

Why Utah?
Utah checked all three boxes: people, place, and program. Training in an exceptional program while being recharged by my physical surroundings resonated with me deeply, as did the unique career/training opportunities that come with Utah's geographic location. What truly sold me was the people: everyone I met was genuine, kind, and deeply committed to the program.
