  • About Me

I was born and raised in Green Bay, WI (Go Pack Go!), where the beauty of the Great Lakes and Northwoods sparked my passion for the outdoors. I attended UW-Madison for undergrad, studying neurobiology and global health, and was thrilled to stick around for medical school. Emergency medicine first caught my attention while working as a scribe in the ED prior to medical school, but it was during my EM clerkships that I truly felt I had found my place. Despite my midwestern roots, I’ve always had a yearning for the mountains, and I’m beyond excited to continue my training here in Utah!

    Medical Areas of Interest

Wilderness Medicine, Rural EM, Global Health.

    Interests & Hobbies

Any form of skiing, trail running, cycling, climbing, pond hockey, boats and watersports, guitar, live music, podcasts, drinking a good cup of coffee.

    Why Utah?

Although my strong support system in the SLC area and the unparalleled access to the outdoors initially drew me to the Utah, it was my interactions with the residents and faculty during the interview that truly solidified my desire to train here. I left the experience without a doubt that I would receive world-class training in an environment filled with incredibly supportive and fun individuals.
