    I grew up in Lahaina, Maui. Left my small pond for the big ocean of UCLA for undergrad. Returned back home to Maui where I worked in the ED of our island’s only acute care hospital. That's where I first fell in love with Emergency Medicine and never looked back!

    Ultrasound, Rural Medicine, Medical Education. 

    Interests & Hobbies

    Hiking, surfing, going to the beach with my dog, Thor, partaking in type 2 fun like CrossFit and distance running, amateur crocheter, aspiring wine connoisseur/sommelier.

    Why Utah?

    I was lucky enough to rotate at Utah during my fourth year and immediately knew I could be happy here. The amazing residents and faculty, diversity of training sites, huge rural catchment area, and the beautiful mountains just steps away are just a few things I love about Utah. I knew I wanted to find a home away from home ( and continue to grow the Hawaii student pipeline! ), and Utah EM was the perfect fit!
