I grew up in southeast Idaho with the dream of being the first physician in my family. After serving an LDS mission in the Caribbean, I met my wife while pursuing a neuroscience degree at BYU, and we welcomed 2 rambunctious boys to our family. I was accepted to medical school about as far from Idaho as you can get in southern New Jersey, and I grew to love my time there after recovering from the initial culture shock. While in NJ, we were blessed with two beautiful daughters, and my wife and I continue to have our hands full with our four little crazies. We love living in Utah where we can ski and go camping as a family, and I spend my free time working on projects around the house, hunting, fishing, or exploring new adventures like mountain biking and rock climbing.
