Dr. Kristen Carroll is a Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Chief of Staff Shriners Hospital. Dr. Carroll works primarily at Shriners Hospitals for Children and also has privileges at the University of Utah Health and Primary Children’s Medical Center. She specializes in Development Dysplasia of the Hip, Perthes disease and hip preservation. She also is highly interested in skeletal dysplasia, Osteogenesis Imperfecta and benign bone tumors such as Hereditary Multiple Exostosis. She significant experience in neuromuscular disease, gait lab evaluation and paralytic deformities. Complex foot and ankle deformities, such as pet plants, cavovarus, and club foot are also an area of specialty.
