Marlijne Kruse, MD (She/Her)

My hometown is in the heart of the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York, and I ran rampant in the woods and lakes for most of my childhood. I grew up Nordic skiing and ended up ski racing for the University of New Hampshire while studying Mathematics. I then moved out to Colorado where I got a master's in Bioengineering, coached some skiing, learned how to mountain bike and started skiing on fat skis! I decided, albeit a bit late, that research was not for me, got my EMT license and worked at a community ER. I have not looked back since and am beyond excited to be pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine.
