About Me
Matt was born and raised in Elko, NV. He is currently working towards his BS in Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis in biomechanics. He joined the Orthopedic Research Lab (ORL) under the supervision of Dr. Anderson in the fall of 2015 and is currently being funded by UROP for a project in ankle kinematics. Prior to joining the ORL lab, he worked under the supervision of Dr. Brittany Coats in the Lab of Developmental Head Injury Biomechanics. After graduation, Matt plans on continuing his education in graduate school and then eventually joining a team that develops orthopedic implants. Outside of school, Matt loves to travel. He spent a summer studying abroad in Galway, Ireland. Also, he loves the outdoors and playing basketball.
