Nancy Gustafson was an alpine ski racer until she retired at 32. She won 7 Paralympic gold medals and 3 silver medals, 9 World Championship gold medals and 4 silver medals, and over 25 US and Canadian National Championship medals. She then became a veterinarian and specialized in Radiation Oncology. During this time, she was doing her dosimetry work. Six years ago, she earned her Master of Science degree in dosimetry and passed the board certification exam. She has worked as a dosimetrist for Huntsman Cancer Hospital for over 5 years. In total, she has 23 years of dosimetry experience. Beyond her professional endeavors, she also holds the highest level of certification as a ski instructor, indulging in hobbies such as alpine and nordic skiing, cycling, hiking, rafting, and pickleball.
