DFPM Awarded $16M in Funding During FY23

The Department of Family and Preventive Medicine drastically increased in ranking as the sixth-highest recipient of award dollars among all departments in the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine for the fiscal year 2023.

Department researchers secured a total of $16 million in award dollars and had a 363.3% increase in funding compared to the fiscal year 2019.

This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts and exemplary work demonstrated by the research faculty and staff of the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. Their pursuit of groundbreaking research and contributions to medicine continues to promote the department's mission of expanding the possibilities of health.
