    Geoff’s oversees all administrative and financial functions in the department. He has worked for University since 2000 with roles in Customer Service, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, Budgeting & Finance, and Neurosurgery. Geoff received his Bachelors in Accounting and MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at University of Utah.

    Faculty Programs Manager

    Jenny manages faculty recruitment/retention processes in Psychiatry, acting as liaison to offices of the VP for Academic Affairs/Health Sciences, Medical Staff Services, Provider Enrollment, and UNI Compliance. Jenny earned a BA in History from CSU and has worked at the University of Utah since 1997, joining the department in 2009.

    Human Resources Analyst

    Susie splits her time between the Department of Psychiatry and the Division of Human Resources. Her responsibilities include recruiting, screening, hiring, and troubleshooting many HR-related matters. She also implements and educates about HR policies. She is a Certified Professional of Human Resources and has worked for the University for 11 years.

    Manager of Accounting & Finance

    Kristie oversees the accounting and financial functions of the department and the department's outpatient clinic. She is responsible for AR/AP, purchasing, payroll, CIP, budgeting, inventory, expense allocations, and fiscal reporting. She received her Accounting degree from the University's David Eccles School of Business and provides over 20 years of related experience.

    Anne's work includes the education, engagement, solicitation and stewardship of current and potential financial support for both the Department of Psychiatry and the University Neuropsychiatric Institute. She facilitates support for clinical, research, and academic domains through the cultivation of individual, corporate, and foundation funding sources.

    Research Finance Manager

    Rachel oversees the department’s research accounting and finance functions. Her responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, budgeting and controlling finances. She provides financial insight for principal investigators to make strategic financial decisions. Rachel has a BS in Accounting, MS in Human Resources, and 15 years cross-industry experience.

    Chelsey is responsible for the effective and timely handling of all research grants and contracts. In conjunction with the University’s Office of Sponsored Projects, she prepares, interprets, negotiates, and executes agreements for projects funded by federal and state agencies, foundations and other public and private sources.

    Karen provides administrative support to the Division Chiefs. Her responsibilities include organizing calendars, assisting with travel, and recruitment. Additionally, she manages the front office for several psychiatrists and psychologists and their clinical practices. Karen has a BS in Family & Consumer Studies from the University and has worked here for 11 years.

    Greg works part-time for the Department of Psychiatry primarily executing reimbursements and purchasing on behalf of faculty and staff. He also supports many of the department's day-to-day administrative tasks. Greg is currently a student at the University of Utah majoring in Business Administration.

    Monica develops and maintains all content and layout for the Department's website. She also contributes to departmental marketing efforts and events, including educational programs, community outreach, and research. She has a BA in Visual Arts and has worked in web-related roles since 2008.

    Kevin has been the Program Manager since 2001. He has worked in various administrative support positions in the community mental health system. He has been recognized for his excellent organizational and administrative skills. Residents have always appreciated his attention to their needs, and he has won numerous resident advocacy awards.

    Residency Training Program Coordinator

    Malissa provides collaborative clerical and administrative support to the both the Adult Psychiatry Residency and Addiction Fellowship training programs. She joined the training team in 2015 and contributes invaluable experience from her previous work in community mental health programs and the University Neuropsychiatric Institute outpatient services.

    Stacey manages all day-to-day aspects of the Medical Student Education for Psychiatry, including the 3rd and 4th year Psychiatry courses. She also coordinates clinical rotations for International, Visiting, and External Physician Assistant Students. Stacey has 30 years of experience working in the field of Psychiatry.
