Our Principles
The Faculty Facilitation Service is guided by two principles.
Confidential
We maintain strict confidentiality. The only exceptions to this are:
- If we learn that there is a risk of physical harm to anyone
- If we are ordered by a court or required by law to disclose information
Speaking with a faculty facilitator about a problem does not constitute formal notice to the University of Utah and the service keeps no official records.
Neutral
Our services are impartial. We do not represent individuals or either side of a conflict. We do advocate for fairness throughout the University.
