About Me
Originally from Massachusetts, Julia earned her medical degree from Boston University, where she developed an early interest in reproductive health and health equity. During medical school, she co-led a free clinic that provided comprehensive care for pregnant and parenting teenagers, an experience that solidified her passion for patient-centered and community-based care. Her extracurriculars included volunteering on an outreach van that brought food, clothing, and medical attention to the houseless population in Boston.
She completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota, where she continued to focus on reproductive health, gender-affirming care, and addiction medicine. Dr. Krumholz is committed to providing inclusive, respectful, and holistic care to patients across the spectrum of gender and reproductive experiences. She has particular interests in prenatal care, contraception, chronic disease management, and outpatient procedures. She is looking forward to getting to know Salt Lake City and meeting new patients in the community.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, biking, and snowboarding, and exploring different coffee shops.
