Dr. Maradiaga is from Silver Spring, Maryland. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at American University in Washington, D.C. He then went on to receive his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine. His medical interest includes preventive medicine and working with the underserved communities. His favorite hobbies include practicing martial arts like jiu jitsu/muay-thai, playing soccer, and enjoying the outdoors. He chose the University of Utah because of the camaraderie between the residents and faculty during the interview process and the strong curriculum that it has to offer.
