About Me
Dr. Armstrong is from Woodburn, IN. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Butler University where she studied chemistry and neuroscience. She then spent a gap year working at a restaurant, brewery, and direct primary care family medicine office before attending Indiana University School of Medicine for her medical training. Her medical interests largely stem from a passion for health equity and include policy, patient education and advocacy, behavioral health, women's health, and caring for disadvantaged patient populations. Her hobbies include exploring new breweries and coffee shops, thrifting, spending time with her cat, reading memoirs, biking, playing basketball or soccer, and watching both women's and men's sports. She preferenced the University of Utah for the unique opportunities within health policy and work with the underserved, the balanced curriculum, and the beauty and accessibility of the mountains.
