About Me
Adam grew up in Kansas City, Kansas before attending the University of Michigan where he majored in biomolecular science and biopsychology, cognition & neuroscience. While at Michigan he developed a passion for clinical research that has followed him into residency. He returned to Kansas to attend medical school at the University of Kansas. He greatly enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures and has worked or volunteered for extend periods of time in Germany, Israel, and Cambodia. Adam also enjoys skateboarding and snowboarding (with adequate protective equipment of course) and consequently has an academic interest in improving treatments for traumatic brain injury and concussion. Other hobbies include hiking, biking, playing guitar, rock climbing, and attempting to tell jokes at open mic comedy nights.
