  • About Me

Amanda’s passion for neurology began when she was diagnosed with chronic migraines with aura in high school. Through her personal experiences, she realized the immense impact neurologists can have on the lives of patients and their family members, prompting her to pursue a career in neurology. Amanda was born in Connecticut and attended the University of Connecticut for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in molecular and cell biology. Already accustomed to cold weather, she decided to test her limits and move to Michigan to attend medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She is very excited to continue her journey west across the country for residency at the University of Utah. Amanda enjoys hiking, kayaking, watching Netflix, playing board games, and going for walks with her husband, Nick.
