Donald McCorquodale, MD, PhD

  • About Me

    Donald McCorquodale was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He earned degrees in chemistry and biochemistry from Florida State University before being commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan where he met his wife Pallas. After completing his service, Don returned to the civilian world and worked as a research technician in the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami. A year later he matriculated into the combined MD/PhD program, and completed his PhD in the neuroscience program on inherited neuropathies with Stephan Zuchner, MD. His is interested in neuromuscular disorders, but he is excited to broaden his experience in other fields of neurology as well. Outside of residency he loves boating, camping, hunting and spending time outdoors with his three sons and wife,and loves to explore Salt Lake and Utah.
