About Me
Eric grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, where his skiing skills peaked at the ripe age of 12 on Northern Michigan’s 1000-foot ‘mountains.’ He went to the University of Michigan for undergrad, where he landed the best freshman job -- getting paid to watch the Daily Show. After undergrad, he taught English at a high school in rural Spain por un año. While in medical school at Northwestern, he was struck by the intricacies of the brain and its effect on the human condition, and inspired by the dedication of his mentors in guiding individuals & families through life-altering diagnoses. He also has an interest in neuroepidemiology, and hopes to one-day work to improve neurological health at both the individual and population level. Eric is extremely excited to have matched at Utah and live next to actual, real-life mountains (and finally ski on powder)!
