About Me
Born and raised in Pakistan, Sahrish completed her medical degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore and her neurology residency at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad. Eager to learn advanced care and research of stroke, she relocated to the University of Alberta in Canada, where she joined the team pioneering Canada’s first CT-equipped stroke ambulance. This groundbreaking initiative allowed her to administer thrombolytic therapy to stroke patients directly in the field, significantly improving outcomes through rapid intervention. Her time in Canada ignited a passion for interventional neurology, ultimately inspiring her to pursue further career opportunities in the United States.
Throughout her journey, Sahrish has been supported by her loving family—her husband and two resilient daughters—who have stood by her every step of the way. When she isn’t working, Sahrish enjoys cooking and binge-watching crime thrillers.
Sahrish is thrilled to call Utah home, drawn to its breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to contribute to the state's rich culture of research and innovation in neurology, where she aims to build a lasting legacy.
