Shea Wright, MD

  • About Me

    Shea Wright was born in California and raised in Boise, Idaho. She played Division I volleyball at Seattle University before transferring to The College of Idaho to complete her undergraduate studies in chemistry, with minors in Spanish and biology. During undergrad, Shea gained an appreciation for research and subsequently pursued a two-year postbaccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland before starting medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine. During her first year of medical school, Shea commissioned as a medical officer in the Utah Army National Guard where she continues to serve. In her free time, Shea enjoys hanging out with her husband and their English bulldog, Sherman. Her hobbies include reading, road biking, exploring Utah, playing piano, and attending concerts performed by bands from a variety of musical genres.
