Headshot of Nicki Hopkins

Nicki Hopkins, R EEG T, CNCT

Nicki was raised in Kansas, where she spent her childhood exploring vast wheat and corn fields. During her teenage years, her family relocated to Arizona. After high school, seeking a change in environment, she attended Weber State University, where she earned her associate’s degree. Initially interested in becoming a respiratory therapist, Nicki quickly realized that the field wasn’t the right fit for her. This led her to explore other career paths, eventually discovering her passion for neurodiagnostics.

Since then, Nicki has earned registrations in both EEG and EMG/NCS. With over 15 years of experience at Primary Children's Hospital, 10 of which have been in neurodiagnostics, she has become an expert in her field. Currently, Nicki serves as the Pediatric Inpatient Supervisor for EEG/EMG across all Primary Children's locations.

Outside of her professional life, Nicki is an avid adventurer with a love for new experiences. Her one fear is that her bucket list will never be fully completed, as it continues to grow with every new opportunity.
