About Me
Robert Maxwell is a University of Utah undergraduate student who matched with the Brennan Lab to research brain excitability under cortical spreading depression (CSD) within the mechanisms of migraine models. Robert entered the Johns Hopkins longitudinal Study of Exceptional Talent (SET) at age 12 by double-qualifying with a top 1 in 100,000 rank based on CollegeBoard SAT scores. He achieved perfect or near-perfect scores on the SAT, six SAT Subject Tests, and ACT exams. He further supplanted high school curricula with University of Maryland credits and attended university full-time at age 14. While researching in the Brennan Lab, Robert is studying for the MCAT with plans for medical school and to further develop his passion for neuroscience.
