Tania Lopez-Palacios Awarded an ASBMB Travel Award
Tania Lopez-Palacios, a graduate student in the Andersen Lab, has been awarded an ASBMB Diversity Equity and Inclusion Award. This award will help fund her travel to the ASBMB conference in March, and allow her to participate in special networking events with other recipients and mentors. Part of which that qualified Tania for this award was her amazing work with the Ella Rises organization! This organization helps promote STEM education for middle school-age Latina girls.
