I was raised in Northeast Ohio where I attended Youngstown State University for my undergraduate education, during which time I completed 4 marathons. I then attended the University of Michigan Medical School and was fortunate to be selected for the University of Utah Pediatric and Adult Sports Medicine Research Fellowship. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three dogs.

Why Utah?
I chose Utah for three primary reasons: the clinical volume, the academic excellence, and the culture between residents. No other program I considered offered so many positives in these areas and I could not be happier and humbled to be here. Additionally, Salt Lake City is an awesome place to live. It has all of the big city amenities while still having a local, hometown feel, and has abundant access to outdoor activities.
