    I grew up overseas and in Virginia before moving west to attend Colorado College where I majored in geology. After college, I spent three years in Jackson Hole where I worked in outdoor education, customer service, and as a medical assistant before attending medical school at the University of Utah.

    Why Utah?

    Utah is a well-balanced program, offering excellent operative experiences and research opportunities in all subspecialties. As a medical student, I was impressed by the strong culture of camaraderie and support amongst the faculty, residents, and staff and by how dedicated the faculty are to education. Being able to enjoy all of these aspects of the program while also living in Utah is an incredible opportunity like none other.
