    About Me

I grew up in Tustin, California before attending California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo where I majored in Biology. After college, I moved to Chicago to complete a Master’s degree and medical school at Rosalind Franklin University. My father is a Prosthetist/Orthotist, and I worked as a lab technician which influenced my decision to pursue a career in orthopaedic surgery.

    Medical Areas of Interest

Sports, Hip Arthroscopy, Joints, and Trauma. Research interests include patient reported outcome research, narcotic utilization in orthopaedic surgery, and predictive models of clinically significant outcomes.

    Interests & Hobbies

Snowboarding, golfing, hiking, fly fishing, traveling, and playing with my dog.

    Why Utah?

The University of Utah stood out to me as an away rotator for multiple reasons. There is incredible exposure to all subspecialties of orthopaedics, great operative experience, a strong emphasis on resident education, and an abundance of research opportunities. I was excited by the camaraderie I witnessed and the encouraging learning environment that the attendings crafted by expertly balancing supervision and resident independence. After seeing the caliber of surgeons, researchers, and leaders the program produced, I knew I wanted to train here. Also, Salt Lake City is an awesome place to live and the proximity to outdoor hobbies is unparalleled.
