About Me
About Me
I grew up in Maryland in a suburb of DC before attending Davidson College in North Carolina where I played 4 years on the offensive line for the football team. After graduating from college I matriculated directly to medical school where I was drawn to the field of orthopaedic surgery and found great mentorship that allowed me to get involved with and develop an interest in research.
Medical Areas of Interest
All areas of orthopaedics so far.
Interests & Hobbies
Traveling, hiking, anything related to cooking and baking, watching sports, spending time with my wife, dog, friends and family.
Why Utah?
In my mind the University of Utah offers the most balanced orthopaedic training in the country. The training here provides strong hands-on clinical/operative training, amazing faculty in all subdivisions, and incredible support for resident research and didactic education. As a rotating student I felt that the camaraderie and culture of the program provided an environment that is prime for education and building tight knit relationships. Plus the mountain views and access to outdoor recreation are hard to beat.
