About Me
ABOUT ME
I grew up in New Jersey and New Hampshire before attending Colorado College, where I majored in molecular biology. After college, I spent two years working in bench and clinical research that focused on immunology and immunotherapies. I attended medical school at Emory University, where a busy orthopaedic trauma service and strong mentorship lead me to pursue a career in orthopaedic surgery.

WHY UTAH?
Utah stood out to me for being the most well-rounded program I looked at. It has the volume to ensure plenty of operative experience, impressively well-taught and organized education, a faculty that is invested in their residents, and leaders in each subspecialty with endless opportunities for research. Another stand out feature was the SKI lab, which residents regularly take advantage of to learn and practice surgical techniques – skills that gain the trust of the attendings and earn residents more operative time in cases. When I rotated, the residents were happy, supportive, self-driven, and had tons of hobbies outside the hospital. It was a culture and program I wanted to be a part of!
