About Me
ABOUT ME
I originally grew up in Northern California close to a lot of family. I attended Stanford University for undergrad where I majored in biomechanical engineering and was first introduced to orthopedic surgery. I then went down to Southern California for medical school at UC Irvine. There, I was fortunate to connect with many of their awesome orthopedics residents and faculty who made me fall in love with the specialty and the community before moving out to Utah for residency. I am so excited for the next five years!

WHY UTAH
I knew I wanted to come to Utah after my away rotation. While it definitely is a well balanced program that trains incredible surgeons and has great exposure to all subspecialties within orthopedics, I was ultimately most drawn by the people. Every resident I worked with was kind and knowledgeable and cared more about the success of the person next to them than themselves. All of the faculty were approachable and supportive while allowing for autonomy and independent development. Add to that the amazing opportunities for research, skills lab experience, mentorship, ability to pursue outdoor hobbies on days off, and gorgeous views outside every hospital window, and I was sold!
