About Me
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town in South Dakota under a father who served as a marine drill instructor and a mother who taught jazzercise for 20+ years, so I can simultaneously dance while getting yelled at if required. I completed all my training up until residency in the Midwest between Nebraska and South Dakota. I love dogs, though I have not been able to get one thus far in residency which remains a point of contentious debate in my household

WHY UTAH?
In general when I was looking for a residency, I knew I wanted a program that would challenge me to be the best version of myself while simultaneously providing me with a non-malignant culture. At Utah, the sense of community and mutual care among colleagues creates a supportive environment essential for thriving in a demanding residency – we are surrounded by dedicated and renowned mentors who truly care about our learning experience and teaching us how to provide excellent care to our patients. Moreover, Salt Lake City is an incredible place to live, offering access to an abundance of outdoor activities, which makes any day off from work that much easier to enjoy.
