    About Me

I grew up in Orem, Utah, studying Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University. I then moved to Texas to pursue my medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While there, I became heavily involved in clubfoot research at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.

    Medical Areas of Interest

Pediatric orthopaedic conditions, especially clubfoot, Foot and Ankle, and Trauma.

    Interests & Hobbies

Cooking, hiking, spending time with my wife and kids, carpentry, bonsai, quilting, weightlifting.

    Why Utah?

The University of Utah Orthopedic Surgery Residency is a word class institution which, in my mind, excels at balancing clinical and surgical exposure in all fields with cutting edge research and educational curriculum. Each member of the department is devoted to education and teaches at every opportunity. Salt Lake City also offers great outdoor pursuits in all seasons of the year and is an amazing place to raise a young family.
